We begin our adventure on the 11th of July in Zagreb…

You can come in Zagreb by:

​TRAIN

     If you choose to come by train, you'll arrive at the Zagreb Central    

     Station (Trg kralja Tomislava 12 / King Tomislav Square 12). 



     On the official website of the Croatian Railways (Hrvatske željeznice,  

     HŽ) you can find intercity timetable.

     For all international trains coming to Croatia you should use German  

       Railways website.

BUS
     If you choose to come by bus, you’ll arrive at the Main Bus Station in  

     Zagreb (Avenija Marina Držića 4 / Marin Držić Avenue 4).



     This is the official website of the Main Bus Station in Zagreb.


     All the prices written for the busses here are one way.

     There are frequent busses that run (to Zagreb main bus station) from:

           Rijeka (cca 2.5-3.5h) price 13€-20€ / first bus at 6:00 am/ last at 1:00 in the night
           Split (cca 6-7h)         price 22€-28€ / first bus at 5:00 am/ last at 1:40 in the night

           Dubrovnik (cca 9-11h) price 35€       / first bus at 5:00 am / last at 1:40 in the night​

     If you need to combine, the BusCroatia is a website where you can find all

     bus stations in Croatia on one place.

PLANE
     The national air company is Croatia Airlines.
     This is NOT a low cost company though sometimes (if you buy a few

     months ahead) you can get a reasonable price. Flies all airports inside

     Croatia and major cities in Europe (Paris, Rome, Frankfurt…).

     Zagreb (ZAG): Zagreb Airport is also known as Pleso Airport after the

     nearby suburb of Pleso. To get to Zagreb, you'll have to use bus tranfer  

     from the airport by buses of „Pleso prijevoz Ltd“, which is the official

     transport company on the route Zagreb Airport – Main Bus Station in

     Zagreb. (And they have EasyJet)

     Other Croatian airports:
          Rijeka (RJK) - (have RYANAIR)
          Pula (PUY) - (have RYANAIR)
          Zadar (ZAD) - (have RYANAIR)
          Osijek (OSI)
          Split (SPU) - (have EasyJet)
          Dubrovnik (DBV) - (have EasyJet)

     Or just try Skyscanner which is a leading global travel search site,

     providing comparisons for millions of flights on over a thousand airlines.

You can leave Novalja by:

​BUS

     The BusCroatia is a website where you can find all bus stations in Croatia

     on one place, so using this (keep in mind that the place of “Departure” is

     “Novalja”) you can find a destination in Croatia where you can reach

     airport with your flight or train station that suites you.


​TRAIN
     To get to the nearest train station – Zadar Railway Station, you’ll have to

     take a bus from Novalja. You can also use the BusCroatia website (so,

     “Departure” is “Novalja”, “Destination” is “Zadar”).

     Zadar Railway Station (Ulica Ante Starčevića 4 / Ante Starčević Street

     4) is located in the centre of the town, next to the bus station and it has

     only basic facilities. The ticket office is open 7.30 am to 9 pm daily.
