Considering yourself a good expert on culture, but never heard that Licitar heart, Diocletian's Palace and Plitvice Lakes belong to the UNESCO's list? Sports-fan, but never played "picigin" or "balote"? And what is "glagoljica", after all? If at least one of these questions seem interesting, keep reading. If not... let's face it, it does.

During the Summer University,                           will lead you through our small, but lovely country. They say that the shape of our border reminds of a bird (maybe a seagull?) in flight. Indeed, this is exactly how we hope to make you feel during this Travel Summer University - flying.

First of all, let's talk about departure point. The city of Zagreb. The biggest city. Agram, Zagabria, Zágráb, Zagrep, Zahreb. The capital of Croatia. Nearly 1 million inhabitants. Looks like Central Europe, breaths like Western Balkans.

The most common first impression people make about Zagreb is: "Looks like Vienna!", "Looks like Budapest!", "Reminds me of Bratislava or Prague!". And they are all right. The time spent inside the Austro- Hungarian Monarchy has left its legacy visible everywhere - museums, Croatian National Theater, the Upper City, the main "Jelačić" square, the main market "Dolac", University of Zagreb. Still, Zagreb wouldn't be so unique without its special addition - Balkan's fragrance.

But what is in it for you? During your stay here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy awesome sightseeing and workshops, as well as amazing opening ceremony. Zagreb is also the place where the Best Night of 'Em All, a.k.a European Night, will take the place. In the end, there is a trip to Jarun, the biggest lake in Zagreb, also known as "Zagreb's Sea".

In order to make you less sad about leaving Zagreb, there is a special treat - National Park "Plitvice Lakes" which is going to be one of our stops on our way to Split. Even though it's become a cliché to describe something as breathtaking as Plitvice Lakes, it's still important to call things with their real names, and that is exactly what we're doing here. And seriously, the most common first reaction to this place is literally a person with a mouth open in a silly, cartoon-like manner and staying like that for a couple of seconds. But don't worry, you won't look that unattractive for much too long - very soon, one among many enthusiastic tourists, will interrupt you to comment this Mother Nature's gift.

And finally - Dalmatia, Split and sea! Again - looks like Mediterranean, feels like Balkans! This is the city of omnipresent beauty; food, drinks, architecture, sea, and people - everything looks perfect. This is also the right place to learn how to play "picigin". This sport is utterly simple, played in the sea. But, if still facing some problems during the game, don't worry, local "seagulls" will be more than willing to help. However, since Split can offer much more than just enjoying the perfect sea and admiring handsome locals, there will be a great amount of time devoted to sightseeing, workshops and parties in some of the most beautiful Croatian night clubs.

The third city we are going to stay in is Zadar, a coastal city in northern Dalmatia. It is a charming city where history comes to life, but city is not the only one charming here. According to urban legend, the men from Zadar are the most handsome Croats. Apart from parties (awesome ones, of course) and workshops, our time will be filled with outstanding city tours. Attractions such as "Sea organ" (an architectural object and an experimental musical instrument which plays music by a way of sea waves) and the "The Greeting to the Sun" (an installation that shows a magical play of light in the Zadar evening) will sure make you stay longer in this magical city. Unfortunately, this is not possible, since our next stop is the place all of you must have already heard of - Zrće!

Island: Pag; city: Novalja, beach: Zrće. What else to say than that it's also known as - “Croatian Ibiza”. It really is true that a picture can say more than thousand words, so if you want to get a preview (but only a preview) of a fabulous time we are going to have there, simply - google it. Since you will already get a very nice piece of culture and sports, it will be high time to take care of the remaining two subjects of our title - Fun and Sun! Make sure that you have some energy left, because this is going to be simply legendary! Just to keep our mind in shape, workshops and sightseeing will take place here as well, because Novalja can offer much more than just partying. And this is, unfortunately, our last, but certainly not least important destination.

Legendary organizers, two weeks, four cities, interesting sports, amazing parties, unique culture, useful workshops, unspeakable sceneries, great food and legendary organizers (repetition is the mother of learning) - is it reasonably possible not to apply?
